The country's reputation in the perception of Ukrainians 23.05.2013
Based on the results of the survey "Facts about Ukrainians", conducted in May 2013, to a greater extent Ukrainians are proud of the contribution of compatriots to world culture and science (56%), as well as for belonging to Ukrainian citizenship (49%) . Also, nearly half of respondents (43%) are proud of the fact they are living in Ukraine. More than a third (39%) of Ukrainians say that they are proud of their personal contribution to the development of the country. Least of all Ukrainians are proud of the current government of the country (9%).

Most Ukrainians believe that living conditinions in Ukraine will remain the same in the next five years 07.05.2013
The majority of Ukrainians (53%) believe that in the next five years the living conditions in Ukraine will remain the same. Only 18% of residents of Ukraine, believe that life in Ukraine will become better, and 29% of Ukrainians, expect that living conditions will become worse in the next five years. At the same time, the residents of the south-east of Ukraine are more pessimistic than those in the West and Centre of the country - 35% and 19%, respectively, do not expect improvements in living conditions in the country in the next five years.
Regarding changes in financial situation of Ukrainians over the next 12 months, more than half of Ukrainians (56%) believe that their financial situation will remain the same. Every fourth Ukrainian (25%) believe that their financial situation in the next 12 months will get worse, changes for the better expect only 18% of Ukrainians.

Russians trust the Russian Ruble (RUB) more, than Ukrainians trust the Ukrainian Hryvnya (UAH) 25.04.2013
The share of Ukrainians, who prefer to keep their savings in Ukrainian Hryvnia is 37%, which is 21% less than the share of Russians who prefer to keep their savings in Russian rubles (58%). At the same time, almost one in five Ukrainians (19%) stated that they prefer to keep their money savings in U.S. dollars. In Russia the credibility of the U.S. dollar is three times less - only 6% of Russians prefer to keep their money savings in this currency.

Countries, where Ukrainians would like to live in 24.04.2013
Based on the results of the survey "Facts about Ukrainians", conducted in March-April 2013, was made a ranking of countries where Ukrainians would like to live, if they had an opportunuty to choose a country for living. The third part (34%) of Ukrainians would like to stay in Ukraine.
Another four countries, where Ukrainians would like to live if they had such an opportunity, are: Russia (11%), Great Britain (8%), USA (8%) and Germany (7%). Residents of Western and Central regions, except Ukraine, mostly prefer to live in Great Britain (13%) and USA (11%). At the same time residents of Southern-Eastern region, except Ukraine, mostly prefer to live in Russia (16%).

Attitude of ukrainians to the Russian language as the second official in Ukraine 20.04.2013
According to the results of survey, conducted in april 2013, 44% of Ukrainians believe that Russian language should become the second official language in Ukraine. One in seven of Ukrainians (14%) believes that the Russian language should become the second official language only in areas where Russian-speaking citizens mostly live. At the same time, the third part of Ukrainians (33%) don't want the Russian language to become the second official language in Ukraine.

Февральская волна открывает четвертый год сотрудничества с медиакомпанией "Deutsche Welle" в рамках мониторингового исследовательского проекта «DW-TREND».
Данная волна посвящена изучению восприятия украинцами подписания соглашения об ассоциации с Европейским Союзом и договора о присоединении к Таможенному союзу. Согласно результатам исследования, украинцы в равной мере положительно относятся к интеграции как с Западом так и с Россией.
